All statutory policies, procedures and school information can be found on here (the website) and upon request from the school office. Alternative versions are available on request, larger sized etc.
 

Safe Guarding

The Education Act 2002, places a statutory duty for all schools, including Independent Schools to Safeguard children from neglect and abuse promoting a child’s welfare.

All staff undertake a comprehensive induction programme on their initial appointment and training at yearly intervals.  Policies are reviewed regularly and updated accordingly.

 

Child Protection Policy

Mayfield House is committed to the safety of its pupils, as such all child protection issues will be referred to the appropriate authorities and social services department in conjunction with the schools Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).  Our child protection policy sets out how we operate within the legal frame work to ensure the safety of our pupils.
